Embrace The Rainbow at Dawn
【節目簡介】
「彩虹城市管樂團」以致力LGBTQ+族群平權運動為執志，團員組成均為LGBTQ+族群、或支持性別平權的朋友，憑藉對管樂的熱情，化為對弱勢族群的關懷。自2015年十月底以來，積極參與台北同志大遊行，為同志發聲、捍衛同志權益。
今年彩虹城市管樂團採取不一樣的面相成長，我們選定了年度計畫「關懷」，並以此為方向擬訂了一系列的慈善音樂會，讓團員有更多不同的機會和弱勢團體合作，也藉由此種合作方式推廣音樂和弱勢關懷，達到社會互助的雙贏模式。而我們也在今年二度參加臺南管樂藝術節，希望透過南下巡演的機會來讓團員的感情能更加深厚，也讓團員能有一個正規室內音樂會的演出經驗，在未來面對舞台壓力及觀眾下能夠有前車之鑑，緊張之餘還是能夠不失水準的演出。
本次的年度音樂會為年度計畫「關懷」主題最終場，也是我們展現一年以來計畫的成長過程，希望透過售票音樂會的方式讓樂團永續經營，也讓LGBTQ+友善的團員及觀眾們能夠有一個可以享受到不同面向及展演的藝術饗宴，希望能夠讓喜愛彩虹城市管樂團的觀眾們體會到不一樣的音樂，享受這美好的夜晚，以音樂滋潤心靈，拿出更好的表現來更積極的推廣性別平權以及消彌歧視，達到更和諧友善的社會空間。

【About the show】
This year, RCSB held a series of charity concerts since our annual plan is set “Caring", so that our members could have more opportunities to cooperate with the disadvantaged groups. Through these kinds of cooperation, RCSB promotes music and the acting of caring for vulnerable groups to achieve a win-win model of mutual social assistance. Also, RCSB participated in the “Tainan Wind Band Arts Festival" again hoping that our music and aspiration could be heard by more people. By attending the big event could strengthen not only our membership but our skills in music.
The last music event of the “caring" year is ‘Embrace the rainbow in twilight’. This concert will show the growth of RCSB throughout the entire year and hoping that RCSB could continue to operate through ticket sales concerts and let LGBTQ+ friendly members and audiences have more enjoyable art feasts. We are all looking forward to showing everyone who loves Rainbow City Symphonic Band a different type of music, presenting the best performance. Through out all the events we hold, we aim to promote gender equality, eliminate discrimination, and to achieve a more harmonious and friendly social space.
